+ infos- Is it possible to visit the student residences ? Student residences receive many application forms. As a result, they only show the accommodation to applicants who have submitted an eligible application. Note that only the signing of the lease commits you to the lessor and not the submission of an application to the residences.
- Do we have the right to APL by renting student accommodation ? The APL concerns subsidized housing. Most student accommodation has an agreement. In this case, they give right to the APL. However, even if your accommodation does not have an agreement, you will be able to benefit from another accommodation assistance: the ALS.
- Is there a charge for submitting a file for student accommodation ? There is no charge for submitting an application file for student accommodation in ADELE. No financial transaction takes place on our platform. The administrative costs indicated in the description of the accommodation correspond to the administrative costs of the residences. Like the security deposit and the rent, they will be payable directly at the residence.
- Do you need a guarantor to rent in a student residence? The guarantor is not obligatory but most landlords ask for it. If you do not have a guarantor, you can appeal to Garantme
- Do I have to pay housing tax with a student residence ? There is no specific exemption from housing tax for students. However, some student residences are exempt from housing tax : university residences managed by CROUS, residences assigned to student accommodation, which are managed by any organization under financial and occupancy conditions similar to those of CROUS.
